  1. Despite the IFR weather on Saturday, Nov 2, we had 10 attendees for our Fly-in to Fredericksburg. The food at the Airport Diner was good as usual and everyone loved the National Museum of the Pacific War. Attached are 2 pics of the attendees and the 2 DA-62’s and 2 DA-40’s that flew in.

    I hope that more of you reading this will attend next year!

My Piston Power Experience

After five years as a first-time owner, I learned the hard way that the Piston Power “Tip-to-Tail” is not the comprehensive coverage it sounds like: only specific listed items are covered, rates rise unilaterally every year, and you forfeit your entire engine-overhaul account balance if you don’t renew (even when the prices go up and the coverage level drops).
