Thank you to the 275 Diamond Aircraft owners and pilots who completed this year’s survey. Responses came from 22 different countries, 4 Canadian provinces, and 41 US states.
We look forward to reviewing the survey results with Diamond as soon as a meeting can be scheduled. Meanwhile, we want to make the information available to our DPA members. The summary is 95 pages long.

After five years as a first-time owner, I learned the hard way that the Piston Power “Tip-to-Tail” is not the comprehensive coverage it sounds like: only specific listed items are covered, rates rise unilaterally every year, and you forfeit your entire engine-overhaul account balance if you don’t renew (even when the prices go up and the coverage level drops).
