Have you ever wanted to fly into the Busiest Airport in the WORLD? Or to the Largest Fly-in in the WORLD? If so, join your fellow Diamond Pilots at EAA AirVenture Oshkosh 2023, July 24th – 30th at Wittman Regional in Oshkosh, Wisconsin (KOSH).
If you’ve always wanted to Fly-in to Oshkosh, but weren’t sure how to, we’ll help you get over that hump. It’s an experience of a life-time! You can even sleep with your plane if you want to, like the owner of N872DS did!
DPA Events:
- Daily get together at SOS Brothers beer tent (Google it) beginning at 5:00pm each day,
- Group dinner at one of the many food tents, if we have enough RSVPs (exact location TBD)
EAA is known worldwide for its annual fly-in convention, EAA AirVenture Oshkosh, which attracts more than 10,000 aircraft and a total attendance surpassing 600,000 to Oshkosh in late July each year. It is the world’s largest fly-in convention, with more than 5,000 volunteers welcoming visitors from more than 90 nations.
There are always lots of Diamond’s at AirVenture, let’s make it even bigger this year! Please RSVP to scott.ramsey@diamond-pilots.org

Scott, thanks for organizing! I am planning on being there from Tues-Sat. I’d love to join the dinner and will plan on being in attendance for at least a couple of the SOS Brothers gatherings. I’ve only been to AirVenture twice and its been a few years since the last one so SOS is new to me. Looking forward to it!
I will be there sat – thur and would love to meet.
I’m planning to be there Monday and Tuesday. Looking forward to it.

Now looks like Wed and Thur night could meet
I’ll be there Sunday-Tuesday. Look for my DA62 wearing Race 27 in IAC/Race parking near show center.
I will arrive on Wednesday 7/25 through Saturday or Sunday at the end. I will be parked at KATW. Looking forward to seeing some of you there!
I will be there Tues evening through Friday noon.
I’m at Oshkosh already, be here all week. Will try and stop by SOS.

We had a great Diamond get together (Ed, Steve, Trevor, Brighton, Rich, Gordon, Chris, and many others) at the SOS Brothers tent (just Google it) on Monday at 5:00. It’s a big area with multiple tents, just look for the DPA Members there in our Diamond hats/shirts, etc.
We’ll be there everyday beginning at 5, come join us for a beer and to talk Diamonds!

Looked for you guys on Thursday from 5-5:30pm but didn’t see anyone with a Diamond affiliation except some guys from Premier.
Scott – I thought the 5pm SOS Bros gathering each day was a great event. After running around each day, it was very nice to know there was 5pm relaxed gathering with friends to look forward to. An the ready access to a cold beer was much appreciated given the temps! SOS Bros was busy but it didn’t seem too hard to get seats etc.. I’d vote for making this an ongoing Oshkosh tradition!
Trevor
Bernie – sorry we missed you, we were there ~4:45-6:15 every day. If you had walked about 25 yds past the Premier folks we were sitting on the left side (adjacent to the road) with a DPA Banner on the wood fence.
Next year we hope to have a space of our own within the SOS Brothers area, so it will be easier for everyone to find. I hope you had a great time at Oshkosh!
Scott- Not sure how I missed you guys. Probably too focused on the groups under the tent. Maybe next year. Bernie
