Diamond After-Sales announced its plans and timeline to work with owners and Diamond Authorized Service Centers to replace the pistons in Austro engines affected by MSB-E4-039 and MSB-E4-043. These are expected to be closing actions for the MSBs and related ADs.
The new piston kits will be shipped in mid-May 2025, and the new MSB revisions are planned for early June 2025.

After five years as a first-time owner, I learned the hard way that the Piston Power “Tip-to-Tail” is not the comprehensive coverage it sounds like: only specific listed items are covered, rates rise unilaterally every year, and you forfeit your entire engine-overhaul account balance if you don’t renew (even when the prices go up and the coverage level drops).
