With the recent decision of Diamond Aircraft to proceed with DiamondFest this year, the Diamond Pilots Association, in conjunction with Diamond Aircraft will be holding a joint event at London, Ontario on Friday, September 8th. All Diamond Owner’s are invited to join.
The schedule is as follows:
0800 – 1200: Fly-in. CYXU does not have ramp space so land at the nearby St. Thomas Airport (CYQS). A shuttle between CYXU and CYQS will be provided. Note: CYQS is an Aerodrome of Entry (AOE), 16 nm away from CYXU.
1300 – 1345: Isaac Capua (Aviation Unlimited) – the market for high end GA aircraft
1400 – 1445: Ed McDonald (Diamond Pilots Association) – maximizing the use and safety of the Garmin G1000 automation
1500 – 1545: Diamond Aircraft – TBD but could include a factory tour, hands on demonstration of how to change the oil in the Austro engine, or discussion with technical support.
1600 – 1900: drinks and dinner as part of DiamondFest
1900 – closing: evening airshow
We realize that it is short notice. If you are planning to attend, please RSVP below with your name, aircraft registration and type, number of attendees, an ETA so we can organize shuttle transportation, and whether you have been contacted by Diamond aircraft with an invitation to DiamondFest already. If you have not received an invitation, we will arrange to get you one.
