Jet A powered Diamonds are looking “safe” from climate bans as we can use SAF – unfortuantely AVGAS powered planes cannot use SAF.
Here is the Australian Governments Aviation Green Paper (consulatatlion paper) on aviation to 2050. Lots of pie in the sky green dreams but they eventually admit SAF Jet fuel is the way to go in the next 20 years. Now just to get the cost per litre/gallon down!
